groOrganic is an organic garden installation and concierge maintenance servicing company providing environmentally conscious consumers an opportunity to grow organic foods and cultivate a healthy lifestyle in their own backyard. 

Our mission is to provide the highest quality organic products and services possible to each of our clients. Through installing organic gardens in backyards, senior health care facilities, schools, urban communities, and more, it is our intention to provide a healthy and cost efficient food source in addition to a desire for self-sufficiency and environmental awareness among our clients.  With our Certified team of groOrganic experts, we aim to provide our client with a convenient, educational, and enjoyable experience while inspiring them to “gro green”.The idea of groOrganic started with Karen Cancilla, business entrepreneur and mother of six.  After planting a garden for her elderly grandmother, Karen recognized significant improvements in her grandmother’s behavior, and so she decided to pass along the same goodwill to others.  With the need for organic food and healthier lifestyles, Karen created a service that provides organic gardens for the public, as well as horticultural therapy and school training programs.groOrganic's School Program is an effective hands-on program that includes a complete handbook set of enriched curriculum for the teacher to provide the student all the information needed for a successful gardening experience. 

The lessons in the program provide creative and environmentally compatible ways for the students to work on individual subject areas or across the curriculum.  Another unique program groOrganic offers is horticultural therapy which can provides therapist with a positive safe environment to facilitate therapy and rehabilitation.  As Horticultural Therapy has been around for centuries, there is a special connection between humans and the garden.
